A 30 km drive takes you into Palma. Locally, Camp de Mar connects to nearby Port d’Andratx and Paguera, with Palma International Airport about 40 minutes away via the motorway and a major road. Camp de Mar also has excellent public transport links and there is also a direct bus link to Palma town centre.

A wonderful choice of restaurants

There are exclusive restaurants abound in Camp de Mar. Take Restaurante Flor de Sal for example: Using fine local ingredients, the cuisine is first rate and the sea views from the vantage point of the restaurant's terrace are breathtaking. Camp de Mar's excellent Restaurante Campino is another restaurant on any bon viveur’s must-do list in this part of Mallorca. Specialising in Italian cuisine, it boasts a beautiful terrace with great views overlooking the golf course.

Another rather quirky eating place not to be missed in Camp de Mar is Restaurant-Bar Illeta (971 235 884). Eccentrically located on a little island out in the bay, it is reached by a wooden walkway on stilts.

Great hotels

Camp de Mar may be a little off the beaten track, but there is so much going on there. Take the 5-star hotel Dorint Royal Golf Resort & Spa for example. Many discerning customers regard this as one of the most luxurious golf and wellness hotels in Mallorca. The hotel also borders on the lush greens and fairways of the 18-hole championship golf course Golf de Andratx, one of the most challenging in the whole of Mallorca.
