About living in Mallorca
Mallorca combines a capital city with a full year-round life, Palma, with mountain villages, rural fincas and coastal towns. The Serra de Tramuntana runs along the north-west coast, while the centre opens into plains of vineyards and almond groves and the south and east are known for their coves.
Palma airport connects the island with much of Europe throughout the year, and most areas are within reach of the capital by car. That makes it possible to choose between city, countryside and seafront without being isolated.
Each area guide covers the lifestyle, the type of homes you will find and the towns to start with.
