A week after the MICHELIN Guide handed three Mallorcan hotels its Two Keys, the island’s restaurants are back in the spotlight. Here is where Mallorca’s starred tables are today, what each one stands for, and what they tell you about the places around them.
The current MICHELIN Guide Spain 2026 lists ten starred restaurants in Mallorca, holding eleven stars between them. Only one, Voro in Canyamel, holds two, and it is the sole two-star address in the Balearic Islands. Four kitchens also carry the Green Star, the guide’s award for sustainable gastronomy.
What stands out is not the number but the geography. Only three of the ten are in Palma. The rest are spread across the Tramuntana, the north coast, the east and the southwest, often in the same villages where international buyers are looking for homes.
The island’s only two stars
Voro ★★
Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, Canyamel · Chef Álvaro Salazar
Salazar serves a single tasting menu, no à la carte, built around modern, creative Mediterranean cooking. The restaurant sits in its own building within the Cap Vermell estate, which this month moved up to Two MICHELIN Keys. That makes Canyamel one of the few places in Spain where a two-star kitchen and a Two Key hotel share the same address.
Book well ahead: it is a small room and opens only for dinner, several evenings a week.

Tramuntana and the north
Béns d’Avall ★ + Green Star

Maca de Castro ★
Port d’Alcúdia · Chef Maca de Castro

Sa Clastra ★

Andreu Genestra ★ + Green Star
Llucmajor · Chef Andreu Genestra
Local, farm-driven cooking that has earned both a star and a Green Star since moving to Llucmajor.
Green Stars: where the produce leads
Four Mallorcan kitchens hold the MICHELIN Green Star. Two also have a regular star: Béns d’Avall and Andreu Genestra. The other two are recognised for sustainability alone.
Terrae
Port de Pollença · Chef David Rivas · New Green Star in 2026
The island’s newest MICHELIN distinction, a tasting menu built on local farms and fishermen in the heart of the Pollensa bay. Discover living in Pollença.
Ca na Toneta
Caimari · Chef María Solivellas
A village restaurant at the foot of the Serra, cooking from its own garden and the seasons of the Tramuntana.
Seven of Mallorca’s ten starred kitchens are outside Palma. On this island, the best table is often a drive into the villages, not a walk across town.
Where stars and keys meet
The MICHELIN Guide rates restaurants and hotels separately, but in Mallorca the two increasingly overlap. Voro sits inside Cap Vermell (Two Keys), Zaranda inside Es Princep (One Key) and Sa Clastra inside Castell Son Claret (One Key). For owners and buyers, this cluster of recognised hotels and restaurants is part of what sustains year-round demand in areas like Canyamel, Palma’s old town and the southwest.
The next edition will be revealed at the MICHELIN Guide Spain 2027 gala in Huesca on 24 November 2026. We will update this guide with any new Mallorcan stars. For more places to eat beyond the starred list, read our guide to Mallorca’s best restaurants.
