About living in Formentera
Formentera is the smallest of the main Balearic Islands and has no airport: it is reached by ferry from Ibiza, arriving at the port of La Savina. Life is slower and more seasonal than on the other islands.
The north is part of the Ses Salines Natural Park, shared with Ibiza, with long white-sand beaches, while the La Mola plateau rises at the eastern end. Distances on the island are short.
Each area guide covers the lifestyle, the type of homes you will find and the towns to start with.
