New shopping center coming in Palma in 2014
A new shopping center will be available in Palma de Mallorcain a couple of years. This project is managed by Carrefour Property and will be located in S'Estada, offering a new experience to exigent residents with special services and benefiting from the island's nice weather.
The project is a 120 million euros investment and should open its doors in 2014 in S'Estada, if the City Council enables its construction.
This open city mall with 164,132 m² will be respectful with its beautiful environment, and will be composed by a Carrefour hypermarket, a large shopping mall and two car parks (underground and surface parking lot).
This new shopping center will complete the already many shopping centers available on the island, as the Festival Park - an outlet mall with a leisure center-, Porto Pi shopping center or Alcampo in Marratxí.
Shopping opportunities grow up: Palma is now a complete residential capital, that's why buying a property in Palma is one of the most comfortable and versatile options living in Mallorca.
In fact, data show that most properties are being purchased in order to resell them back in the future, rather than for personal use, buying properties in Mallorca or even whole residential complexes.
The Balearic capital, with more than 300,000 inhabitants, has endless shopping possibilities as in Peninsular Spain. The only difference is its finer quality and variety (with many international products), and of course its gorgeous natural surroundings.
