This famous red book has to be up there with ‘The Thoughts of Chairman Mao’ and Eamon Andrews on ‘This is Your Life’!

We refer of course to the red book listing restaurants that have achieved coveted Michelin stars.

The good news is that the 2017 Michelin Guide for Spain and Portugal has lauded the beautiful island of Mallorca with even more Michelin stars. In fact, the island can now boast a terrific 10 Michelin stars, including two new kids on the block: Restaurant Argos in Puerto Pollensa and Restaurant Adrián Quetglas in Palma, both whom have gained their first Michelin star.

This means that Mallorca now has a total of 10 Michelin stars amongst its nine qualifying restaurant. (When you think that the island of Majorca is actually smaller than the English county of Devon, that’s some achievement!)

So it’s on with the best bib and tucker and…let’s take a look at some of the finest, most mouthwatering food you’ll find anywhere in Mallorca:
