Beaches on Mallorca North East Coast

Mallorca Pollença had until recently neither a beach or any sand. Now there is know a beach of about one kilometer in length and 30 meters in width. The beach has umbrellas, fist aid, sun beds, and water sports. There are a few bars and restaurants, but mainly it is a quiet beach all year round. |

Port de Alcudia is a harbour part commercial and part for yachts, big and small. It is a nice area to have a walk, or to visit one of the many restaurants found on the water front and in near by streets. Just next to the port the beach is starting, stretching for kilometre after kilometre. The area is a very popular place during the summer. |

The beach at Alcudia is one of the longest on the island. Situated at the very Northernmost tip of the island. The beach is just over three kilometers long. On it's shores you will find all the major water sports such as Dinghy-Yacht sailing, water skiing, "Hobie sailing", jet skiing and "parasailing". Along the length of the beach you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. |

There is a major stream which separates the commercial area of the port from the beach known as Platja d'en Repic. This beach is long (1'100 metres) and very narrow (13 marts), and is mainly a very light shingle beach. The usual attractions are available, such as sun beds, pedalos and first aid, but you also can take boat trips from this beach. |

The road going down is 6 KM. long and quite narrow. Once down you find parking at the harbour area. Actually there are no boats in the small harbour, as it is very exposed to the swell. Instead the harbour is used for sunbathing and swimming. There is a small beach, but better bring an air mattress, as it is one of the few a stone beaches in Mallorca. |
